Convulsion
Convulsions are sudden, involuntary muscle contractions caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain. They are often associated with seizures but can also occur due to other medical conditions. Convulsions can range from mild twitching to violent shaking and may cause a temporary loss of consciousness.
🔹 Causes of Convulsions
🧠 Neurological Disorders – Epilepsy, brain injury, stroke, brain tumor
🌡️ High Fever (Febrile Seizures) – Common in young children
🩸 Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia) – Common in diabetics
