What is Frozen Shoulder?
Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) is a painful condition where the shoulder joint becomes stiff, painful, and loses mobility over time. It usually develops gradually and can take months or even years to fully recover.
Stages of Frozen Shoulder:
1️⃣ Freezing Stage (Painful Phase) (2-9 months)
💢 Gradual shoulder pain that worsens over time.
📏 Reduced range of motion.
2️⃣ Frozen Stage (Stiffness Phase) (4-12 months)
🛑 Pain may decrease, but stiffness increases.
🚫 Difficulty moving the arm, especially lifting or rotating.
3️⃣ Thawing Stage (Recovery Phase) (6 months – 2 years)
🧊 Stiffness gradually improves.
🔄 Movement slowly returns to normal.
